Our Story

Founded by Charity Knowles, Ruff Ruff Ranch began from a deeply personal journey. After first training as a service dog host family, Charity later needed a service dog herself — an experience that truly changed and helped save her life. Seeing the life-changing impact a dog could have on someone’s world sparked a passion for helping others and striving to create the very best support, education, and future therapy and service dog opportunities possible.
